My Next Legacy for Dubai – The World’s Second Tallest Tower: Burj Azizi. I used to hear stories about Dubai from a friend I had 38 years ago while I was living back home. I used to periodically go to his watch store. He would share stories of his travels and business dealings in a city I knew very little about and never imagined I would call home over cups of tea.
Subsequently, I began my own business journey 36 years ago, initially in the CIS countries. Before I visited Dubai 30 years ago, I had to wait another six years. However, that initial meeting? It sufficed. I could see Dubai’s promise, its enormous opportunities, its lively vitality. I had to be involved, I understood that. I relocated here, and this wonderful city has continued to inspire me and motivate me to pursue my goals of becoming an investor and entrepreneur.
As I write these observations, I’m pleased to announce that work on My Next Legacy for Dubai – The World’s Second Tallest Tower: Burj Azizi, which my business, Azizi Developments, designed and developed, is now officially under way. And where else but in the center of the renowned Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai?
A Vision Brought to Life:
There is more to the Burj Azizi than meets the eye. It’s a famous project that perfectly captures the spirit of Dubai. We will be spending more than Dh6 billion on its development, and I have no doubt that it will completely change Sheikh Zayed Road and raise the already stunning Dubai skyline to new heights.
Burj Azizi, however, is more than just its spectacular height and ideal position. Even by Dubai’s already high standards, this tower will redefine innovation, luxury, and excellence.

Innovative Design and Unmatched Luxury:
Burj Azizi is going to be a marvel of contemporary architecture and engineering. The skyscraper will have the highest observation deck in the world, ultra-luxurious residential units, a distinctive vertical shopping mall, and a plethora of facilities and food and beverage outlets situated at previously unheard-of heights. The interior design of the 7-star hotel in the skyscraper, which has the highest lobby in the world, will showcase the seven major civilizations of the world, thereby reflecting the essence of Dubai.
Burj Azizi is a place that offers more than just opulent living quarters, in my opinion. It will be a destination unto itself, offering locals and tourists the chance to take in all that Dubai has to offer in one magnificent tower.

Building a Legacy:
My objective in participating in the Burj Azizi project goes beyond monetary gains. Burj Azizi is intended to be a legacy, an enduring symbol of Dubai’s appeal to both locals and tourists. Even in a city renowned for its breathtaking architecture, this tower will push the boundaries of engineering and design and raise the bar for what is conceivable.
I am ready to invest because I have a strong sense of obligation and appreciation towards this place. Over the years, Dubai has provided me so much: security, opportunity, a friendly work environment, and a lovely place for my family to call home.

Upon contemplating my journey over the last three decades, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for Dubai’s leadership’s vision and wisdom in creating a city that is so hospitable and encouraging to global innovators and entrepreneurs. I could not have made it as a businessman without the kind welcome I got here.
My sincere thanks go out to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, for providing Azizi Developments with the resolute assistance Dubai authorities have needed to see the Burj Azizi project through to completion. Their assistance has been priceless, and I have no doubt that we will depend on it going forward as we progress through the various finishing stages.

Looking Forward:
I can’t help but think about the charitable legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the UAE’s founding father, as work on the Burj Azizi is underway on Sheikh Zayed Road. Burj Azizi, in my opinion, will leave a little but lasting legacy of propelling this nation to even greater heights of wealth.
Burj Azizi is ultimately more than just a tower. This will be my next legacy for Dubai, a city that has become home to me and a place where aspirations of any size may be realized. I can’t wait to share this vision with the world and am thrilled to see it come to pass.
