Application Process
Eligible candidates can apply through the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security. Nominations for the long-term residency can also be made by relevant authorities, ensuring that those who have substantially contributed to environmental causes are recognized.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, emphasized the importance of this initiative: “The sustainability of our economy has become linked to the sustainability of our environment.” This statement was made during a Cabinet meeting, highlighting the UAE’s commitment to environmental sustainability.
